NCRI - According to the state run media in Iran, The inhuman mullahs' regime , hanged three prisoners in Ardabil, north west of Iran, on May 17. The day before it,  in a cruel act, 7 prisoners including  a women were hanged together,  in  central prison in Kermanshah city, east of Iran,  (state run agency-Irna-May 17). Iranian regime also reported that it has hanged a prisoner  in Tehran on  May 15.

The number of executions therefore has reached 64 only  in  nearly  five weeks.

Cruel executions under the pretext of drug smugglers occur  when drug smuggling in Iran can be traced back to the highest commanders of the IRGC and criminal mullahs  who are spending billions of dollars obtained from smuggling on export of terrorism and fundamentalism as well as other unlawful activities.

According to Mehr news agency affiliated  with the Intelligent Ministry of Iran, 53 persons were arrested  in the city of Qom under the guise of security measures and arresting “hooligans and thugs". The mullahs' regime, incapable of countering increasing internal and external crises, has intensified the level of suppression specially the number of cruel executions in order to prevent the explosion of the people's anger. The Iranian resistance calls on all international human rights organizations and bodies, specially the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Special rapporteur for human rights violations in Iran and the UN rapporteur on executions to act urgently to stop the increasing number of cruel executions in Iran.
